“Ten minutes, two simple steps, and dinner goes from stress to steady.”
Short routines reduce decision fatigue. We anchor the evening with a checklist: set water to boil, assemble a soft-texture plate, and sit together for 10 minutes.
Print a fridge card so anyone helping can follow the same steps.
Keep flavors familiar, add color, and serve warm. Label leftovers with big, clear dates.
Stop if dizzy or painful. A little, consistently, beats a lot once.
Big, high-contrast labels on drawers and shelves cut confusion in half. Use verbs: “Make tea,” “Heat soup,” “Utensils.”
Post a 3-step meal card at eye level. Keep snacks on the middle shelf in clear containers.
Prep in batches. Store in small, labeled containers for easy wins.
Use a color-coded pill box and two prompts: a phone alarm and a sticky note by the kettle. Log doses with a simple check mark.
Every Sunday, refill the box and snap a photo of the schedule. Share with your backup caregiver.
